Nope&Hope
Terms of use

The ground rules

Last updated: 27 October 2026

By using Nope & Hope you agree to these terms. Nope & Hope is run by Prachi Purohit in India.

What Nope & Hope is

Nope & Hope gives you information to help with your job search: warning signs in job messages, and feedback on how your CV matches a job ad.

What Nope & Hope is not

  • Not a guarantee. A "no red flags" result doesn't prove a job is genuine, and a warning doesn't prove it's a scam. Always verify with the company directly.
  • Not a judgement on any company. Results describe signals in the text you provide, not facts about any named organisation.
  • Not a promise of interviews or jobs. CV feedback can improve your chances but can't guarantee replies.
  • Not legal or financial advice. If you've lost money, contact the cyber crime helpline (1930) or the police.

Your account

Give accurate details and keep your sign-in to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Fair use

Don't use Nope & Hope to break the law, upload content you don't have the right to share, overload the service, or copy and resell it.

Reporting senders

Only report a phone number, email, UPI ID or link that contacted you about a job and that you honestly believe is a scam. Don't report anyone to harass them, settle a dispute or harm a business. Report counts show what users have told us; they aren't verified findings. We may remove reports or suspend accounts that misuse this feature. If you think you've been reported by mistake, write to prachidec03@gmail.com.

Payments

Paid reports are priced on the pricing page. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Content you upload

You keep ownership of everything you check. You allow us to process it only to give you your result.

Liability

Nope & Hope is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on a result. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by Indian law, and Indian courts have jurisdiction.
